You’re alive to make your best friend laugh and your boyfriend smile. To be a daughter to your parents and a sister to your siblings. You’re alive to handle the rent and eat your favourite food and finish my sentences when I don’t know how to. You’re alive to see funny memes and ridiculous reality TV shows. You’re alive to keep me sane and experience the world with other beautiful people. You’re alive to admire the way the moon and stars look and the way the sun shines onto the train and makes people look lovely. 

And while some days I think the only reason we do exist on a particular day is to make life beautiful for someone else, is there any better reason than that?
